The ark mud flaps have arrived! After researching what was available and fitment for the 2024 Tacoma SR I had very limited options. The SR mud flaps from Toyota a similar version from Amazon and these were all I could locate that fit the SR. I could not wait for weather tech. Tar and chip is everywhere! I will update with photos after install and a drive on tar and chip and light mud run on the turbo truck rallycross sprint track. That is a brush hogged series of paths in a hilly field out back I mess around playing with the truck In.

The mud splatter is from the Sierra Nevada Pale Ale sprint 100 Saturday night. I will detail truck before testing in mud conditions. Will update with photo. Do I like the look? Not really but I had to have the protection. The install was smooth. Seems better than OEM Toyota. Only time will tell if they hold up to the gallivanting wildness of an out of control man child.

They compliment the ‘snow plow’ you left on…

Tell me about the environment your premium hybrid will live in Pete. My Tacoma is a simple farm truck agricultural errand runner. Are you going to run no mud flaps? The front air dam will be remaining in place. If there is that much snow that I will be plowing I will be staying home sleeping in but up before 11am as I never miss The Price Is Right. Wait I don’t have anywhere to go all winter long and I sleep in everyday. I don’t have to worry about the weather or much of anything just whatevering everyday.

They appear to be able to protect trucks with larger tire sizes with poke + or - 1.5”. Thank you for sharing.
As for earlier responses , everyone has an opinion constructive or not.

Your welcome. Not many options out there for mud flaps. Some only fit certain 24 Tacomas. With the Toyota OEM individually part numbered and priced they are expensive. On the window stickers they are a 60$ option? The ark mud Flaps can be removed in less then 15 minutes if needed. Vastly superior in protection compared to OEM with poke covered for the big tires. Many years ago at an American Honda training facility the instructor showed a group of technicians that a nickel coin could be balanced on the running engine of a GoldWing while idling on kick stand. I was one of those technicians.

I saw a YouTube video the other day and the guy said his paint was being chipped by his front tires picking up rocks and the rocks being wung by the tires. Looks this product would solve that problem. Are these flaps suitable for mild off-road use?
Thanks for posting this

I had to have these for fresh tar and chip and gravel dirt roads primarily for chip protection. As I stated they can be removed very quickly and easily if terrain would require it. More experienced off road enthusiasts could better advise then I.
