Just got these installed today so I'm writing a quick review. I've had nylon seat covers in almost all my trucks, all covers have been from different manufacturers and all have outlasted the vehicle, including my last set which are on my 8.5 year old truck that I'm getting ready to sell. Nylon seat covers aren't the prettiest or the most comfortable, but they hold up to abuse better than anything else and I need that durability in my trucks.

These CalTrend covers are 1000 denier nylon, that's significantly heavier than any of the other seat covers I have used on previous vehicles, but I wanted to give it a shot. I knew it likely wouldn't fit quite as well, but I was fine with the tradeoff for maximum durability.

The material is certainly heavier than other 400 or 600 denier nylon covers, and feels more durable. Again, I've never had any significant wear on any nylon seat covers, so I expect 1000 denier is probably a bit overkill for most uses, but I do like the heavier material for my use.

The seat covers were about the same as any others as far as difficulty of the install. Some parts of the install were easy, some parts were more difficult. These seat covers used a lot of straps with clips, that were very easy to get very tight. This system worked much better than covers I've had that have used velcro straps exclusively.

Fit was pretty good, but not the best. I'd say the rear seat cover fit the best. I took the photos of the front seats before I worked on getting the covers tighter, but as you see in the photos, the front seat covers bunch up some in the middle and I couldn't completely eliminate that. I assume the manufacturer probably made these a bit larger than necessary, because people tend to complain about how difficult covers are to get on, especially with the heavier material. The seat covers were very easy to get on. Other than that bit of bunching in the middle, the fit was otherwise very good and construction quality was excellent.

The biggest issue I had was the headrest covers for the rear seats. See the photos. I worked on those covers for the rear headrests for a long time and there was no chance the velcro was going to attach where it should under the headrest. The seams were not really close to where they should be. Even with the poor fit, it doesn't look bad. There's enough fabric to tuck it under when I push the headrest down. I'll mention it to the manufacturer and see if they can fix, but it wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. If there was anything that wasn't going to fit perfectly, this was probably the best part to have not fit perfectly.

Other comments I'll put next to the photos.

Headrests have been an issue with all seat covers I've ever used. The fit on the rear seat headrests is the worst though. I really worked these down and tried to stretch them, but you can see there's no chance of closing that gap. Front headrest covers were tight but fit much better.

Rear seat covers were nice and tight. Lots of wrinkles from the packing but they'll work out.

I was able to get rid of some of the bunching in the middle, but I couldn't eliminate it. The middle front portion of the cover is probably just a bit oversized.

Holes for some of the tabs that allow you fasten the seats down and the ones to release the seats, are all aligned well.

Lots of clip straps that can be cinched very tight. These were a real strong point, very easy to install and tighten down, completely eliminating any seat cover movement.

There's a fastener near this opening in the seat cover, but the hole in the seat cover is definitely not in the right spot. It is possible to reach the fastener and attach the strop through this hole though, so it doesn't limit functionality in any way.
