Someone please correct me if I'm wrong but, I really wish the 360 camera was available outside of the premium package.
It is called the multi terrain monitor and came with the premium package on my truck

The North Park San Antonio Toyota salesperson was pushing a silver TRD OR with premium on me that they had on the lot yesterday versus me waiting for my Ice Cap that is on QC hold. Maybe its still there.
Ahh! San Antonio, my home town! Silver is my primary but white is usually my back up color! Had a 4runner off road in white years ago! Loved that thing except the gas mileage!

I saw the allocation spreadsheet somewhere and at least 4 dealers in DFW had the same truck in sliver coming to their dealership. Have you seen the inventory spreadsheet?
Yes but I don't understand how to read it.

you can sort by zip code and look for dealers in your area to see what is coming to their dealerships. Also on Cars.com dealers are putting what they have coming to their dealership.

What brand is the bike ? Spring is nearly here and the trails are calling !
Trek Fuel EX 9.8 29er all carbon, maxxis minion DHF 2.5 front, maxxis dissector 2.4 rear. Rode three times this week! Still have a little saddle soreness due to first rides this year. Weather has been very warm this week in Texas! Can’t wait for the time change and more light to ride!

We are a Tacoma family, to be specific Silver Tacomas! I came from a recent model Off Road Tacoma to my 2024 Off Road and my son had a 2019 SR5 4X4 in you guessed it, silver!. I agree with other owner's sentiments on the ride quality being much improved. Night and day! My previous Tacoma even had the Overland Torque Tune on it and this new 8 speed transmission is silk! I went with the premium trim and I love it. The tech is a bit overwhelming initially. The instrument dash is a 1000% improvement over the 3rd gen.

My Favorite upgrades over the 3rd gen

1. Rear suspension and effect on ride quality
2. Rear disc brakes
3. Auto Hold that holds you in position at a stop light until you hit the accelerator
4. Electronic Parking Brake
5. 360 view cameras with so many modes! Love the birds eye view when backing up!
6. 14 inch infotainment screen and wireless Apple Carplay, 10 JBL speakers- FLEX removable
7. Powered up and down tailgate
8. Acoustic glass on front windows for quiet cab
9. USB C chargers all around! (my iphone takes USC C) but I have some USB C to lightning cables for my slow adopting friends ;)
10. Speed limit sign reader that shows the speed limit on the instrument panel!
11. Safety sense 3 and the auto steer assist feature! It is really good!
12. SoFTex heated and ventilated front seats. Also power adjustable front passenger seat! The ventilated function is ok and a bit noisy.

The only real negative has been the dash cam. The dash cam itself is sweet, but the Toyota app is pretty bad. It is rated at 1.5 stars on the app store. It is confusing to connect and requires multiple attempts. I used a garmin previously and it was so much easier to use!

Digital rear mirror also takes some time to get used to as CATOY said. Still not using it full time. But love the home link for garage doors!

Very Nice! Mine is a 2019 I believe. It has been so good and dependable! My buddy has electronic shifting on his rig and was laughing at me because I still shift by wire. I was laughing and wondering what new improvement with they make this year that we really don't need. On one of our first rides this year we were huffing and puffing and a young dude flys by us on a e MTB! We were like dude, at least act like you are pedaling! lol!

Thank you sir!

Better than the fabric one on the TRD Sport.

Wondering if that would fit the TRD Sport?

thumbnail_20240224_112815.jpg
It looks similar and probably would fit. If I was a routine off roader, I would probably get the TRD skid plate. About all I do is jump the highway to the access road when there is a wreck on I-35! lol!

The sunglasses holder is back in the off road! Did not have one in my 4runner off road or the Tacoma off roads due to multi terrain select and crawl control, but it is now back!

I thought about the powered tailgate too, but if you did accidentally hit it you can just stop the tailgate by blocking it. I have carried two bikes (both 29'ers) at once and far and it is rock solid and don't have to mess with a hitch mount. I just changed the tailgate pad to one that allows the tailgate camera to work properly when the flap is up (LEETPIC classic for $90 on Amazon)

Carrying bikes did make the rear parking senors go nuts, so I turned them off. With the camera , I should be good backing up etc.

I'm a MTB'er too, and surfer, kiteboarder, etc. I bought a 2 door Ford Bronco a year ago, I like it, and I pulled the back seats out for storage, but..debating a Tacoma again. It's been 20 years since I've had a truck ('93 Toyota Pickup 22RE, manual). The ease of just putting it on a tailgate pad (along with all of my surf gear) is tempting.

I haven't put a hitch rack on my Bronco because the thought of having a $4k mtn bike just bouncing around going down the interstate isn't high on my list, that and it's roughly $1k to get it to tilt out from the 35" tire I have.

Your build is pretty much what I would get, TRD Off-Road with the premium package, although I really only want the Softitex fabric (because I'm at the beach all of the time), moonroof, and updated screen. The power tailgate just seems like something to break over time.

Bronco for reference, has anyone gone from a Jeep or Bronco back to a Tacoma, any thoughts?

Sweet Bronco! I have a 1UP hitch rack also but nothing has been easier than throwing the front tire over the tailgate . I have carried two at a time so far and they are rock solid secured at the down tube with a velcro strap they don't budge at all at highway speeds. I also agree that even though my hitch mount hold the wheels securely I do have a strap to secure it just in case. No way do I want to see my all carbon Fuel EX tumble on the road!
A 5 foot bad is fine with this method but a 6 foot bed seems like it would be better with surfboards & longer boards. Agree with you 100% I only wanted SofTex seats (they are bomb proof) and the bigger screen but jumped on mine even thought it had a lot of stuff added that I was not looking for but ok with. Just need some good all weather mats from Weather Tech or Tux Mat when they come out!

Ok I have a random question. In the third pic down of your center console I don't see a stop/start override button? Am I just not seeing it? Would be the far right button of the of the five.
