awesome idea, saving this for if my truck ever becomes reality lolIn my opinion it’s not the greatest. It’s slightly better than one in my third gen (which I never used) but this one doesn’t charge as well either. I pulled the fuse and turned it off, since there isn’t an actually off button like in the third gen. Now I can use it to my phones without it charging. Truck had the four charging cables and the usb-c ports charge great. Nothing beats a direct connection.
I’ve had people say it most be the cases I use and it’s too thick. To that I reply, I don’t use cases on either of my phones. So that’s not it.
I am starting to feel the same wayawesome idea, saving this for if my truck ever becomes reality lol
iPhone 14 Pro in Apple magsafe case works fine for meI took delivery yesterday and from what I have seen so far, my iPhone 14 is too short and slides down the charger and stops charging. Really just needs to be moved up about an inch to make contact with the mag charger.
Has anyone made a bumper or lifter for this? Seems like someone with some time and a 3D printer could maybe solve this issue. Should I just ball up a bunch of napkins and treat it like an off-balance table at a restaurant?
Mine slides down the slope. 14 pro in magsafe case. Let me see if I can get a video of it.iPhone 14 Pro in Apple magsafe case works fine for me

Link to where you got it. Any modifications to get it to fit or it just works? I like the wireless carplay but when using waze it drains the battery and need it to actually charge. My sport did not come with the wireless charging but I did end up adding my own. Picked up two MagSafe chargers from amazon and fit them into the space where the wireless charger would be. Now my wife and I can both charge our phones while we drive, and since they are the MagSafe ones, we don't have to worry about our phones sliding or bouncing around. $20 well spent in my opinion.
