Trailhunter QC Holds — multiple regions

So it’s now been 2 weeks since this first came to our attention. Anyone have any updates, rumors, whispers, wild speculation, etc? I’ll take whatever you got!

I do a search every day on Toyota inventory for TH 6ft beds within 100 miles (Maryland), and nothing new has appeared since the QC hold started. all of them are sold except for at the dealers who are adding heavy additional markup. Does it mean all new builds are also on hold? Maybe. Good news is one of the TH has my reservation on it. The dealer I am working with gave information that the QC hold would be two more weeks a week ago. So maybe next Friday we will see something happen.

My TH says this on the Toyota site:

“Vehicle may be in transit. Contact dealer to confirm availability date.”

This is what my dealer sent me:

Neither has changed in two weeks.

Expecting it to move in two weeks, but hoping for one.

Ah okay thought it was customer facing like ford and others.

not really needed as it’s already there, but just curious.

I wonder what this hold is, man. Hopefully I’m not getting one that slipped through the cracks of a major issue LOL

I spoke to my dealership and they said it was still on a qc hold.

My 4-6 week expected delivery is now on the 9th week with the last update from the dealer having no ETA.

Same story as other here, still on QC hold with no additional intro provided yet by Toyota.

To me I don’t understand why Toyota isn’t more transparent with their dealers. Like some kind of correspondence that says fyi we’re placing a QC hold for x reason and expect resolution around y date. Instead zero info. Oh well, someday we’ll get it.
