It takes up space, no doubt so might not be the right solutions for all. For me the ability to close the cover at any point has already come in handy and the ability to open the cover without dropping the gate has been great. But the space thing is real.

There are small holes in the bed, but the tubes are too big to fit in. I'm considering drilling them out just a bit since they are already there. Right now I just have the tubes routed through the tie downs and draining right over the holes. More to come once I get some more work in on it.

The 2024 Retrax Pro XR came in early from RealTruck! It fits great and looks even better. I personally think the install instructions on the YouTube vids were better than the included instructions but relatively easy to install in about an hour for me. Love it so far. Will post some more...

I got the Kuat rack system and it will fit the Retrax XR's T channel with an adapter Kuat sells. It's a bit pricey, but they have a ton of options including a system to fully enclose the bed space.

UPDATE: Retrax now says it will ship on or before 5/15/24.

RealTruck put the 2024 RetraxPro XR back on its website so it can be ordered again, but they are not available until after May 1 according to Retrax. FYI.

UPDATE: Kind of disappointed with RealTruck and Retrax for not mentioning that my order for the 2024 Tacoma Retrax Pro was a "pre-order" and that it's not being released until May 1st. I finally reached someone at Retrax that gave me all the info, but bad biz to keep customers in the dark like...

Good news. Nothing yet on Retrax PRO.... Still pending fulfillment.

I spoke to them this morning. They say it's coming directly from manufacturing and should ship in the next couple of days. We'll see. I need that particular model so my bed rack will fit.

Well, not sure what's going on, but RealTruck is radio silent and now the website shows nothing available for the 2024 Tacoma. They have my $ so I hope to hear something soon.

So I just ordered a RetraxPro MX from RealTruck that says it fits the 2024 Tacoma. I'll keep you posted.

Not sure if it's legit, but Realtruck.com just posted a product for RetraxPro XR that shows will fit Gen4.

I'm looking at the same thing and after looking through the installation video, It seems to me that the bed lengths are close enough that it should work with a Gen3 cover. I might just order it from Amazon and return it if it doesnt fit, but will continue following this and other similar threads.

I've been following this post and I also see that a few manufacturers have covers for the 2024 now (Seneticusa is one example). I've looked at the installation videos for the RetraxPro and it seems to me that the Gen3 model should fit the Gen4 beds. Has anyone had luck with fitting Gen3...

Definitely larger radius than my Gen3. Taking some getting used to.

Had the exact thing with my hitch mounted bike rack. Used the toggle switch located on the left side of the steering wheel to select Settings (shown on the display), then scroll down to PKSB and deselect it. I think that's what the post above says in a much more thorough way. lol.

Yes, can confirm that the parking assist break will stop the car when you get too close to something. Gotta turn it off when my hitch mounted bike rack is in place. Learned that the hard way. lol. I have the TRD Pro with premium package. Not sure what comes with other models.

Had the exact same Car Play issue with my Gen3. It's a pain, but 1st world problems, right? lol
