Remove the speaker, and use a trim tool to remove the plastic trim surround. You'll see 4 screws to remove, then the dock just lifts straight out.

I installed mine a couple of weeks ago. It makes a huge difference. I could get mine to fit behind the screen until I took the removable speaker and it's dock out, and then it was straightforward. Removing the dock is also super easy.

I'll be the first in line when a larger tank is released. My old Tundra with the 36 gal tank could make it from FL to TN on a full tank, that's my goal with the Tacoma.
