Similar here...just got word our WD sliders are on the way. The Trailhunter tubes don't deflect much. I'm optimistic that, like the solid sliders did on our Wrangler, the new sliders will serve as an effective deflector. We'll see.

In anticipation of my soon to be mounted 275/70/18 rims and tires, I order the ARK mudflaps to avoid paint damage. The tires I chose say in the description that they are design to expel rocks in the tread, so yeah. Better safe than sorry...
