yup; it’s a Tacoma thing. Even on my 3rd gen; gas light comes on when I have close to 3 gallons left. Really hope that would have been addressed this gen but as long as you know that; no biggie. Its better on our Fuel pumps not to run past empty often

My 3rd gen is also way too conservative. My light comes on when I still have about 60 miles left. I have a 21.2 gallon tank and when the light comes on; I usually only fill 18.5 back to full.

I have really enjoyed having Husky weather beater liners in my last 3 trucks. They hold up well just like weathertech; would highly recommend Husky for any vehicle.

Sounds like you will not need the rear locker on the OR and I doubt many beach drivers need a skid plate. In the end; get the truck that is comfortable for daily use.
