As I read it, they weren't saying they wanted full time Auto 4wd. They said the truck should have an Auto 4wd option. I.e: 2hi, 4hi, 4lo & Auto. Tacoma doesn't have that. At its price, it should. Auto is super useful if driving when the road has random slippery sections. I had Auto in my...
Truck looks real good, but those fender flares don't look painted to me. In the last pic (of the front tire), the way the light reflects, it looks like standard unpainted trim.
And the tires don't bother me toooo much. At least Toyota is giving some real good color choices.
Ford has gone back...
I think it looks really good. I really like the interior......except for the peel-n-stick tablet....but that's pretty much the norm these days. I'm sure I'd get use to it.
The only thing I'm concerned about is the towing capacity. It was listed at 6500lbs, for a couple of the lower trims...
I'd love to get a set of pizza cutters also. They work great on snowy roads, and even better when it gets slushy. Unfortunately, they aren't easy to find. AFAIK, none of the big tire manufactures make them anymore
I completely agree. The Tundra grill makes me puke . It makes the whole truck unappealing to me, but this new Tacoma has risen to the top of my list for my next truck.
Not much of a teaser. I mean, does any really care about a BT speaker option?
My prediction is the speaker will only be available with an upgraded stereo package....along with some other bits and pieces, so you'll have to spend at least $1k to get it.
Order the standard stereo system and...
 I figured as much, but was holding out a glimmer of hope it wasn't going to be that way. The rest of the truck is going to have to be exceptional for me to overlook that. I absolutely hate the stick-on screen trend. Makes the whole dash look like an afterthought.
I forgot about the arm rests. I agree. I didn't like those either. It gave the interior a "cheap" feeling.
For hauling stuff though, the truck was awesome. The wheelwells didn't get in the way when hauling plywood and the hidden storage in the box holds a lot of stuff. The swing-away...
I like the look of the twins also. I think the upcoming Taco looks a bit better, but the twins aren't far behind. I was suprised too, that the MPG was so poor. It's baffling as to why GM allowed the weight to increase so much.
The rear seat comfort in the Ranger may be better than you think...
I've been lurking on this site for quite some time, but only out of curiosity, as I wasn't ever considering a new Taco.
Now don't hate on me, 🙏 but I've never care for the looks of the current or previous gens. Everyone has their own styling preferences.
However, I think Toyota nailed it with...
Curious as to what you want in a "larger" seat? Wider; more legroom? I'm 6'0" and have no problem riding in the back of the current Ranger. Not as comfortable as fullsize, but more than acceptable for a midsize. Unfortunately, I believe you're hoping for something that won't happen, as the...
