In a surprise to no one, the boys on Throttle House just mentioned in their review of the Ranger Raptor that its less expensive than the Tacoma Trail Hunter.
Ranger Raptor Throttle House review
I’m guessing the MSRP for the TH and Pro will be $62k.
This is great to hear. For the non hybrids in November it was 2 weeks from media day to embargo with price and other specs released.
So hopefully we have pricing in late April. I can wait another few weeks to find out if pricing will push me into a slightly used raptor or wait for a Pro.
Id be surprised since they havent had media test drives or even announced price and mpg.
Im thinking theyre quite behind the original plan of april production. But any new info would certainly be welcome!
Every year the range of TRD Pros share the same color options. So I’m quite confident the 4 boring options for the 24 Tundra and Sequoia Pros will be all we get. Granted a 2025 TRD Pro color should only be 6 months out at this point, but who knows what it will be.
I can only stay excited about a vehicle for so long. Ive been excited for a TRD Pro but between the shine wearing off after 10 months of looking at pictures and having a deposit, to the expectation of a $59-62k midsize truck, my eyes wandered.
I can pick up a loaded, low mileage 21-22 F150...
1. Articulate and specific review, well done and much appreciated as someone who loves the Canyon but is holding out for the hybrid.
2. IDK why but “God hates a coward” made me laugh out loud
This has been my assumption all along for the Pro based on the other Trd Pros in the lineup since they always mirror color options. Disappointed but I’ll just wrap mine if it ever gets built.
Get ready to be happy, because Car and Driver clocked a 7.0 second 0-60 and 15.3 quarter mile in the non hybrid.
With 50% more torque in the Pro, my guess is more like a 6.0 second 0-60 and 14.0 quarter mile. It's going to be legit quick.

Wow I’m envious!
Can you check the wheel well gaps to estimate what it would take (if any) to increase the tires from 33” to 35”?
Also if the brakes appear to have enough clearance to size down to 17” wheels.
Thank you and HAVE FUN!
I’m sure it would be very easy to sell the ID seats from a pro and pocket some cash on a swap.
Personally I love those seats, but don’t have kids so the lost rear leg room is a moot point for me, but does seem costly to anybody with rear passengers.
This is bad, but Toyota of Smithfield in RI would like 1-up them: theyve continued to claim they only sell at msrp for all vehicles, but for a Pro they told me I’d have to pay for partial PPF (so a few hundred bucks worth of poorly applied film) and its TEN THOUSAND DOLLARS lolol
So I’ll be...
Since I've got in writing that I'm paying MSRP (whatever that will be for a Pro), I couldn't care less how they fell about outside financing. I plan to finance half and give them a chance to match the lowest rate I've found. Currently seeing 4.54% for a 3 year loan from Navy Federal CU
Your frustration is warranted, but youre still in a much better place than frustrated Ford buyers, Chevy Bison dreamers, or us hybrid hold outs.
I put down my TRD Pro deposit back in mid May and expect to eclipse a full year before delivery, and still don’t even know the price.
But all these...
My guess is April since a few prominent youtube channels that were at the previous media day indicated thats when they expect to drive the hybrids for the first time.
It would be logical for Toyota to host another media day with an embargo date for driving impressions to be released at the same...
I’ve committed to just wrapping whatever exterior color I can get with the red interior. I hate how limited TRD Pro colors are, so I’ll get the fun interior and just change the outside myself.
After a year passes (May) since my deposit, I’d probably take a pink camo truck if it were available. 🤦‍♂️
