@SleepyBear do you happen to know where the fuses are for the dc power in the bed? Mine seems to have blown, but I'm not sure where to find the fuse for that. It doesn't seem like it's one of the ones in under the hood, but I could be wrong.
I've applied the Glasparency coating in the past and it lasted over two years, regular hand washes and their spray on boost. I'm not claiming it lasts 5 years either. But I'm giving it a try. It was definitely easy to apply and then a benefit too. I don't know if anybody these has been around...
@bking
One bottle should cover the vehicle. I had some left over.
When you put the coating on, you put a few drops on the applicator pad. Then they recommend you make a box around a small area, 2x2 or so, and then use circles to fill that section in. On your truck, because it's black you'll...
Thanks I appreciate it. It did come through on my end too. Thank you! I'm glad it saved you something. My kit did have the applicator, but I bought a second one just in case I dropped it on the floor or something. Let me know how it turns out!
Thanks I appreciate that. Can you me on favor? If you do use a link/code from DIYDetail, can you just let me know when you do? I'm new to these links and there are a fair amount of clicks, but according to their tracking no one has made a purchase. Basically, just trying to see if they actually...
Thank you I appreciate that. It'll hold up great especially if you wash your vehicle after. From the last 4 vehicles I've used it on that's not a problem at all. Now it won't prevent it protect against scratches though. It might make it easier to buff out light scratches, but won't prevent them...
Hey all, I was finally able to get my video together on the choice of product, the process and final results of coating my Taco with a 5 year Graphene Ceramic. Let me know if you have questions and I hope you find it interesting!
Also I'm curious, which thumbnail do you think is best for this...
I sold them on FB marketplace and got $400 for them. I might have been able to get $500, but we were ok with what we did get. So with install the new tires were about $700 after selling the old ones.
I was able to create a video comparing the stock BFG s to the Falken Wildpeak A4TWs as give my thoughts on the two different tires in general on my Tacoma. Please feel free to ask questions!
I used @Discount Tire for the purchase and install and they did a great job.
My Celestial Silver also has some of those changing paint colors on the fenders. It's noticable is you are really looking for it, but luckily no dents. If I hadn't just detailed the truck. I'm not sure if I'd have seen it.
I hope all ends up alright for you!
Nice. I'm still trying to get passed 12 mpg, but I only have May 80 miles and I've been doing a lot of filming so that's. It helping my mpgs for sure. 😂
