The OEM spring clamp things are awful. They scratch cups, put holes in soft cup material, and no one likes them.

Could you please make a hard center insert for the front that covers the awful OEM spring tabs. Cover them and add the little round ones like your have for the rear. Or something, please anything would be better than the awful factory holders. Feel free to use my amazing sketches as inspiration.
