Hi all,
I just got an update email from Carista about some new features available in release 8.8. Like others, I bought and used the Carista device to make some customizations, but I did not pay for any extended licensing. In other words, I had the 30 days or whatever you get when you buy the...
I have a Sport, not a Pro, but this is one of the main reasons I bought and installed some side steps on my truck. In my previous 3rd gen Sport I felt the same way as you describe about sliding in and out of the seat, and I didn't want to start the same wear and tear on the '24. That being said...
Hey, I had forgotten about this thread and have since posted updates on some other threads, but I will circle back here just in case anyone else stumbles on this one.
Knowing I wanted different tires, I bought new tires (265/65-18 Toyo Open Country A/T III) from Discount Tire Direct long...
Considering if you buy the black TRD wheels from the factory at build time they give you no discount whatsoever toward the original wheels that were included in the price, I was pretty happy with the outcome indeed.
I bought new tires from Discount Tire Direct long before my truck arrived at the dealer, and arranged to include the black TRD wheels in my truck’s purchase order when I bought it. At the advice of someone else on this forum I then inquired if the dealership would buy the OEM wheels and tires or...
Sanity check here - my VIN is in the TSB range, but it specifically mentions automatic transmissions and mine is a manual transmission. They wouldn't have included the E indicating a manual transmission if it weren't affected, but why specifically mention automatics if it also affects manuals? I...
It’s all personal preference obviously. I went with the Go Rhino V-Series V3 steps on mine because of all the ones I checked out, I loved the way these looked. I was thrilled with the appearance when I finally took delivery of my TRD Sport as well! These kind of sat in the garage a while waiting...
I took a road trip Sunday-Tuesday from CT to NH and passed a Bronze Oxide Taco on the way up, I think somewhere in Mass. My first time seeing the color in person (also among the only few other 2024 Tacomas I have seen at all) and I really liked the color.
Yes, you start with a temporary VIN and then once the truck is built the dealer can get the real VIN. Also, I will add that some dealers are more clued in than others. Mine told me he wouldn't have a VIN until it arrived. I found this funny, since the truck gets a VIN when it's built. He just...
The OEM blacked out emblem part number is PT413-35240-AE.
I was going to order it but it was on national backorder. So instead, for a third of the cost and a few minutes work (spread across multiple coats, 30 mins dry time between them), the plastidip method turned out great for me.
Looks like the OEM to me with the Toyota logo visible in the image. My WCP TRD Sport has the OEM tonneau cover as well and yeah, no issues at all so far with the automatic tailgate opening or shutting.
I just checked the dealer's online store front I used to get a couple parts for my truck, since they have a nice discount, but it's still pretty expensive. This price doesn't include shipping, but shipping has been pretty reasonable.
MSRP:$385.00
Discount:$88.27 (22.9% off)
Sale Price:$296.73
Ok, I’ll bite. I am in CT and the dealer got me my 3rd color choice which was Wind Chill Pearl. I figured I would see some insight but instead for CT I see a 0. Is the data old, or is it an insignificant number and therefore not represented?
The image and dates I had came from my dealer. There used to be alternate ways to get the info, but the self service toyota-tracker.com site fell off the internet a few months back. If there's any other way to get it now, I don't know of it.
I don't have another picture from the dealer, but while it was waiting to leave Mexico I got this from the dealer. Sure looks like a boat at the Vessel Depart stage.
