I would say you've given it a good shot for 2,000 miles. If it hasn't grown on you, take advantage of year end deals to lighten the blow, but move on. I understand some of the things you're saying, but some issues sounds like a higher trim might have served you better. Check out a GMC Canyon...
I created this account in 2023, before these were even released and disappointed everyone. I did my own research by actually test driving the vehicles and speaking to Toyota representative about potential changes/fixes/ updates. I'm hopeful some of these things are addressed in 2025, so I try...
I test drove 3 of those things; I don't mind it being a 4cylinder, it's just that powertrain that I mind. Even the hybrid doesn't seem right; very unrefined, uneven, inconsistent. The whole truck feels cheap.
I'm getting a little tired of hearing how great the mid-sized truck market is right now. If you want a truck that has updated technology and is reliable (certainly not unreasonable goals) what are you supposed to buy?
I test drove a Sport, the hood shaking and flexing just driving down the road was very disappointing. I think he was being kind blaming it on a gasket; it's too thin, period.
I agree with him, too many gimmicks, not enough of what I would actually want.
I'm waiting for my 2024 Sport Premium as I continue to drive my 2022 RAV4 Prime premium. Same system, same dash, etc. It came with a year of "connected services" trial where I could use their Navigation, Sirius radio, and still have the phone setup bluetooth for phone calls. I loved it, I...
The first 4th gen I saw was an OR in Underground. I changed my preference quickly, I really did NOT like it in person. Bronze Oxide was the opposite; I thought it was just another tan, it's actually pretty nice.
Wait, is the seat memory function not available even in the Premium Package? I think I'm going to drive a Sport tomorrow, I'll have to take a look. I agree with you 100% if that's the case.
I've been saying that about the auto or full time 4x4 for a while. It's one of the reasons I am...
I don't blame you for buying first model year, it's ok to be excited and passionate about things, lol Also, it's a Toyota, it's a reasonable expectation that they would have their act together.
From what I hear, this is an excuse many manufacturers are still using. Still cashing in on COVID...
Ok, thank you. I do get the same notifications but the 5,000 mike appointment is just tire rotation. It would make sense if the oil changes were more frequent with the Tacoma if they're accounting for towing or off road driving.
I'm planning on purchasing a 2024 or 2025 Tacoma, I'll have to...
I don't think they do an oil change at 5,000 miles, do they? I've had a couple RAV 4 Primes since 2022, the 5,000 mile service is just tire rotation, perform a few checks, and address any concerns that might have come up. Is it different with the Tacomas?
I was waiting for the hybrid mpg and price numbers to be released before making a decision. Considering it was June before they released that information, also because it is a first model year, and I would also like some different colors...I decided to wait for the 2025s. I read somewhere that...
Well, I agree with your point, but that show is terrible, and it has a 2.5 out of 10 on IMDB 😂. I didn't like The Mandalorian either, but I could understand why some people did. I find The Acolyte unwatchable, but I'm glad you enjoy it. It would be a boring world if everyone felt every had to...
I honestly think TFL had an issue, that video got a ton of views, so all the other You Tubers decided the way to get clicks was to point of every single flaw. All I know is, I'm the annoying guy who asks everyone I see with a 4th gen "how do you like your truck", every person says they love it...
Especially with the small gas tank on the 2024. 30mpg was never going to happen but I was really hoping for just a bit more total range with the hybrid
I have a Toyota RAV4 Prime, 302 HP, 2nd fastest production vehicle Toyota makes, and I average 90 mpgs. They easily could've hit 30 mpgs...
Frankly, I need efficiency more than the power. If they could've gotten the mpgs around 30, that might be interesting. The price is around what I thought, the mpgs are a big disappointment.
I've seen Terra in person a couple times, I really like it. I also want a hybrid, but seeing how they haven't even released prices...it would probably be August before I could reasonably expect my truck. I'm starting to lean towards just waiting for a 2025 Terra iForceMax Off-Road (with ADD...
Man, I had a 2019 Magnetic Grey, Off Road, 4x4, Access Cab, with a 6ft bed. So disappointed they're not doing the Access Cab in a 4x4 and 6ft bed in the 4th gen.
I keep telling myself I'm waiting for the hybrid pricing to come out before making a decision on the new Tacomas, but I'm starting...
