I have the factory bed step and it is EXTREMELY well made. It was an absolute pain in the @#$ for the dealer to install. While expensive, it's well worth the cost - or at least it was for me. Plus, the automatic handsfree storage under the bumper works well and keeps everything tucked out of...
I just installed the TRD shift knob last night on mine and like the square shape significantly better than the stock one. It sits maybe 3/8" taller. I think this knob is actually easier to work with and feels significantly better than the stock.... just my two cents.
I just installed mine this weekend. Install isn't too terrible but be EXTREMELY careful not to drop any of the screws that attach the relocated rail to the cover brackets. I accidentally dropped one and it went down between the tailgate and the bumper and is no where to be found. The two...
Mine is the same way.... I spotted it immediately at the dealer and the service department confirmed with Toyota - that's the way it's supposed to be.
Still seems goofy.
I received my TRD Off Road 6MT on 4/1 and have about 500 mile with zero issues. Mine didn't go into production though until 3/15 so I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.
Just received my '24 TRD Off Road last week and absolutely love it. Spent some time today looking things over and was curious.
Upon checking the oil, I discovered that the oil was in the exact middle of the dipstick between the two dots. After looking at the owners manual it appears the...
Amen to that.... It may just be something on the automatics because I imagine the wiring harnesses themselves are different since the manual doesn't have all the electronics and stuff.
Last spring I purchased my first manual car (23 Subaru WRX Premium) and absolutely love it. When my Silverado finally got to the mileage that it needed to be replaced I decided I wanted to do a manual. The performance difference between the auto and the manual is not something that had any...
Yes.... The 2023 TRD Pro one is compatible with the 24 6MT Tacoma. I hounded the parts folks and they were able to get me one. I plan on swapping mine out as soon as the truck arrives.
I don't know about wheels, but the 'blackout' package is nothing more that the black tailgate lettering insert and the black badge overlays.
My Off-Road was ordered with the tailgate lettering but I didn't think about the side badges. Rather than deal with an order change and risk getting...
I have a bronze oxide TRD Off Road Premium (6MT) scheduled to be built 2/26. Took over a month to get Toyota to accept the 'preference' and grant the allocation. But it's going to be WELL worth the wait :)
