I know this is gonna come off as a stupid question, but how high is the likelihood that the TH/Pro front bumper and grille assemblies, fender flares, and wheel well liners will be direct bolt-ons for the other trims?
And follow-up, does anyone have an idea on if and/or when body parts and...
I'm in the NO MARK UP TOYOTA facebook group, and a couple of the salespeople in there were saying that it's been kind of hinted at that the iForceMax Tacomas are gonna be lower production and could be even later in the year because of the Land Cruiser production ramping up with higher priority.
on rewatch and from what’s in the video, and on checking my own truck, traction control is off automatically in 4LO and can’t be turned on. so i am changing my mind, the ADD is probably weaker than it should be. not a great look, but i wonder how hard it is to replace?
it’s great that the ADD prevented more damage from occurring, and yeah the part shouldn’t have failed that easily, but i’m also of the mind that the traction control had a part to play in this with quick acceleration and braking when the wheels started spinning on the climb
this looks and feels like a failure of the traction control and abs systems being too aggressive, couple that with tires that are a bit shit for the environment they were in. all around just a recipe for a bad time, but it doesn’t seem like they did it intentionally. it does seem like they were...
yeah, but a good pair of sliders both looks better and is actually functional. if the steps on the pred were removable and it was actually frame mounted it wouldn’t be so bad.
i'll have to go an measure it, but there's a bit of space there. the one downside to this design i see, is that on the passenger side of the 14" screen is an extra USB-C port that lets your passenger princess plug their phone in and use the Carplay/Android Auto features without having to connect...
extremely small!! haha i picked it up off of Devin, apparently i called in about purchasing two days after one of the service guys had passed up on it. i chalked it up to fate
I had used 4H to slowly and safely get out of Indiana because I am not confident in snow as a Texan lolol, and once I was on normal road conditions I didn't turn 4H off until I hit Nashville.
It does not block the overall view from the drivers seat. It's actually really impressive how it sits sorta flush with the top of the dash. And having seen enough photos and videos of the dash with the 8" screen, spend the extra money and get the 14". The 8" just looks all kinds of wrong in the...
Did a 1250 mile run this weekend.
First day numbers:
MPG in 4H: 17.4mpg at an average 78mph
MPG in 2H: 19.3mpg at an average 76mph
I didn't reset the total average MPG meter until I had finished my first day running, so that hurt my numbers there. I reset for the second day.
Second day...
I did the trip in 2 days. First Day was Muncie, IN to New Orleans, LA with stops in Louisville, KY, Nashville, TN, and Meridian, MS. Part two was New Orleans back to Houston. And I'll definitely post the gas mileage.
Hey y’all. Recently picked up a TRDOR in Muncie, Indiana and then drove it back to Texas ~1250 miles. Below are some on my impressions and feelings on the newest Tacoma. I also have a few other thoughts I’ve posted over on reddit under the name Modprop.
For starters, I am coming from a 2015...
