As of right now, they have not confirmed a release date or release window. On the 4Runner Forums, our dealerships have been saying early deliveries December with full scale launch around February or March.

I have noticed that Toyota does that for vehicles of all sizes. Currently looking at the 4Runner TRD Sport or TRD Pro. The thing pushing me to get the TRD Pro is that it’s a Hybrid while the Sport can only get the base 2.4T.
I think it’s very impressive how much torque the Hybrid has. I feel like if most people want to actually tow something this is the better of the two Powertrains.
I think that’s the main thing I love of the IForce Max. That electric motor really helps the turbo out where I felt that the base IForce really lagged behind.

I got to review the 2024 Tacoma with the I-Force engine and I really think this is a special engine that Toyota created. I know a lot of people have said bad things about the 4 popper Turbo but this really is a good engine.
