Oh that’s not good, I noticed when I did my first oil change the filter kept wanting to cross thread.
I though it was just the way it tilted since I was able to get it on smoothly after a few tries
You need to have a obd2 dongle and something like carvista. I turned mine off and couldn’t really notice a difference.
Wish it always had that nice idle diesel clatter it does at idle
not mine, truck is pretty quite as far as brakes and no drivetrain howling, but on the topic of brakes the 4th gen feels miles ahead of my 3rd gens brakes
I've never used a JB4 but from what i've read it doesn't affect the ECU since its a stand alone unit down line from the ECU, but I'd also take that with a grain a salt and let someone else experiment with it.
