Well as a tech at a GM dealership I will tell you there is more issues with the 3rd gen Colorado/ Canyon trucks than ever before. Comparing notes with my brother who works at the Toyota dealer down the street, there are very few issues with the Tacoma and they have sold a lot more 4th gen...
I work for a GM dealership, there is more recalls on the Colorado/Canyons. Tailgate recall, rear main engine seal leak, infotainment system goes blank
( because light are Only accessible thru the info screen it is a safety issue). Rear axle bearing failure, roof collapsing in drive thru car...
You had the older GM that lasted a long time. Been a GM fan for 40 years, but my last 3 didn't last 200,000 kms without bent push rods and failed lifters. 2019, 2021 and a 2022 Silverados, all had transmission issues before 100k miles. The 2021 was a buyback. My 2009 Tacoma has 310k miles and...

The KO3 tires are all terrain, I like them for getting into my fishing holes up in the mountains, and a fairly well behaved asphalt tire. So it matches the all terrain attitude of the TRD Sport.
Hi all. I am new to the site, not new to Tacoma, I have a 2009 DCLB TRD Sport Premium. Have been thinking of getting a 4th gen. Waiting to test drive.
From what I a see in video and media the interior kept the rugged Taco appearance with nice big dials and buttons, rugged grab handles...
