I would not bother with wheel locks. I took off the dealer installed locks. Unless you are parking in unsavory areas you probably will never have your wheels stolen. Plus the thieves can have tools to get the locks off in seconds
I had a 2017 Tacoma. Hated it so much traded it in for a 18 tundra. My 24 Tacoma is light years better than the last generation.
I rarely ever see a Tacoma towing let alone a full size pickup but I get that’s what trucks were designed for
I had the same problem. Remove the plastic end piece from each rail and slide the three outer brackets down the rail track. The upper portion of the bracket has to fit completely inside the rail
Just drive it normally. Don’t over think it. I have 6000 miles on my TRD off road and have had zero problems. Changed the oil at 750 miles and at 5000 miles
