My off-road shop recommended Toyo Open Country AT's instead of K02 or 3's, said these BF Goodrich tires are difficult to balance. I took thier advice and am very happy with the Toyo's. Glad you got it resolved, and yes, should be no out of pocket for you.
Thank you! Will be heading to trails around Taylor Park Resevoir, possibly Gunnison, Off-Road Premium not stock, full armored, leveled, with Toyo 33's, and a covert bumber winch and recovery equipment. Three days of moderately challenging trails with streams and lakes. Will take a peak at Utah...
What came with my OR is a bolt on cross member, 2 bolts each end, with two skid plate mount location in between. I got the front covert bumber and skid plate set, did not need the cross member. See picture.
Full CBI Aluminum Skid Plate set, front to xfer case. After I replied initially, I realized a picure would be helpful, then it could not be found in my garage with the stock plates returned. The cross member was not returned to me after installation. Working with the shop to get it back. Sorry...
Kielly, Do you need a cross member for the front skidplate mount? I have an offroad and received a cross member with the full skid plate set and do not need it. Maybe we can make something happen to help you. Thanks, Paul
I would not turn anything off, get another insurance provider. My 24 Tacoma is listed as Commercial on my registration as are all trucks in California. I would have a problem with my insurance company monitoring my movements. Good luck!
My suggestion is to hold off and get the best you can afford. You will not regret it. Here is a link descriptive video on the improved flex with a sway bar disconnect.
Yes, they are out there, received my 24 Tacoma Off-Road (Ventura, Ca) with premium package and was pleased to learn that it had the sway bar disconnect at the push of a button. Still waiting for for armor and a few upgrades before I take it out on a serious run.
Can you provide more info on the front hybrid bumper? Compatible with the non-hybrid 2024 offroad. Winch capable with containment of the factory fog lights and sensors? Lead time? Some photos of the bumper would be nice. Cheers!
