Mine is the OR with the tow package.
Now, I haven't checked it with an Ohm meter or played around with it, but when my solar system went down on a three-week camping trip, I had a problem. When I built my camper, I put a switch on the hot line coming from the plug. With the truck running, the...
It's not a part, it's just sprayed on. There are lots of companies that can do it for you.
It's not for me. Bed liner was invented for steel beds that rust when scratched. The composite bed is great without it.

The only way would be to run a new wire directly from the battery to the 12-volt outlet. I'm sure Toyota doesn't do it this way to prevent the battery from being run down to the point where it can't start the engine.
I run Valvoline Restore and Protect motor oil, and it's proven to remove carbon buildup in the rings and engine block–including sludge and varnish.
Carbon doesn't magically go away until it reaches above 600Âş F. Since the exhaust valves run hotter than that, they shouldn't get carbon buildup...
This has been bounced around on the forums a time or two. I don't recall whether it's a transmission cooler or what, but the engineers chose to limit your truck to a 3,500-pound tow limit.
