80 % of the condensation water does travel out of the drain tube outside , the other % depend on how large the crack is drips by gas pedal . Depends on how long a/c is on. You are not going to notice on short drives and the carpet will not be soaked or will have time to dry out.
I have the same noise at idle, ( automatic trans) not sure while driving due to I have not been in the vehical, girlfriends truck. I noticed firt time she took me for a ride. As a mechanic myself, not ac clutch, not fan, not eng block noise. Played video to dealer tacoma owner of 18 years...
Every dealership is going to be the first one unfortunatly being 4th gen. My concern also. You really do not what to see how they fix this, even I was shocked as a mechanic.

If you see the photos of what they have to do to fix, you would be shocked. Being a mechanic myself, I'm use to seeing a hanger queen ( helicopter) get put back together.

The evaporator box was cracked on installation, I was able to see the old one. The crack is not on a seam of plastic. I bet there are alot out there but people are not wearing flip flops like we do in fla to notice the drip.

Got truck back today, two day fix, entire front interior out, still in shock of photos to fix. Everyone has the first one they have ever seen............
This is why I joined this thread today, as a 30 year helicopter mechanic, its either a faulty product or damaged on install? The crack is on the exact same fins.
