Recovery point. There are a few good options. The ARBs are factory on the Trailhunter. NYTop also makes a nice one.

I bought one from a guy that sells them on TacomaWorld. It's one of the popup types and it fits the 4th gen really well. It was about $37 shipped. You can shoot him a DM if you don't have the minum post count to reply to his for sale thread.

I wonder if you got one from a bad batch. I have the Lasfit and they fit really well.
Lasfit is pretty active here. You may want to try pinging them and sending them pictures.
I got the OEM cover on sale around the 4th of July for ~$950 tax included. Had to pick up from local dealer.
Labor day is coming up. If you can wait, it'll probably be on sale again.
I couldn't recommend the OEM cover enough. Easy install, still relocates the rails so you retain full...
I've noticed that, more often than not, my truck doesn't correctly start Android Auto if I start it in a place with bad/nonexistent cell service. I wonder if it is related to it loading your personalized settings. Possibly, the Taco checks in with Toyta's servers before it connects?
The even semi-crazier thing is the Toyota Pickup had a lock on the fuel door. My '93 had it and if I remember correctly, so did my '90 and my '85 4runner.

They should. The goal is to sell trucks before they even hit the lot.
I ordered (reserved) mine on 4/20. Build happened on 5/13. It arrived to the dealer today.
Correct. Each dealer gets allocations that consist of the trim, color, factory options, and port options. In general, you can only change the port options and that's only if the truck is far enough away from the build date.
Say you wanted a TRD Offroad Premium in Solar Octane. You either...
A hum in an aftermarket install can be related to a bad ground. How did they ground the amp? Did they scrape all paint off of whatever bolt/metal they used?
Picking the truck up tomorrow. I have a 2000+ mile road trip planned for the 2nd week of August.
How important is the factory recommendation of putting 1000 miles on it before doing sustained speeds? I probably won't have an issue putting that many miles on it before the trip but I was...
