Definitely true! It’s a pretty hidden and unseen area too but as you come in to open the door you definitely see it and it’s bothersome. When I eventually get a paint chip elsewhere on the car I’ll try the kit out and see how it compares.

Like the other commenters have said. This doesn't have anything to do with the tacoma but rather toyota themselves. The tacoma without a doubt is a super awesome truck but with it being a new year and a completely new redesign comes with its consequences. Hopefully you get it repaired soon!

I was also tempted to do a self install but I figured that the truck is just too new and In too good of a condition to mess anything up in. The install only took the shop around 3 hours to complete.
