Not in eco mode, I wish that I was at this point so there wouldn’t be a need for a service visit.
Good to know, hopefully it’s something that easy. Was yours working at higher speeds then, or not at all?
Anyone else notice their A/C doesn’t blow cold at slower speeds? Mine is great at higher speeds, luckily most of my driving with the taco is highway. In town though, or sitting at a stop, it’s not cold at all.
I took it in a parade today (going about 2mph) and by the end of it my dash was...
I got a roll of Avery wrap off Amazon for about $250. Planned to wrap just like the PRO but being my first time wrapping a vehicle the roof portion didn’t go well, just Too hard with the rain rails and antenna (I didn’t want to pull head liner down to remove antenna). I ended up just wrapping...
I tried to put felt where the caution sticker was, thinking it’d add more tension to the prongs which would hopefully pull the button tight as well, but my felt is too thick and wouldn’t allow the speaker to fully seat into the pins on each side. Going to try with thinner felt
I tried to put some felt between the two “arms” that come up to the speaker from the floor of the reciprocal but couldn’t get the speaker back in. My felt might be too thick. You placed yours around the vertical edge? I think mine is a combo of the speaker and the button. If I gently press the...
Is anyone else having a very clicky type rattle coming from the dash? It seems to lessen when I hold/push the JBL speaker down a little. I didn't have the issue until it got cold, with the exception of if I had the sunroof and back sliding window open - which apparently causes some sort of...
I know very little about wheel adapters/spacers and offset, etc. I can do the mechanical bits of installing from the looks of things, but the rest seems to be over my head, maybe I'm just making it harder than it is, but I could use some help.
A quick back story: I ordered an M3 back in the...
It is not attached with 3m tape, only 4 bolts and some plastic plug fasteners. Very easy to get on and off.
As far as the size of light bar, I’m not entirely sure. I know that the LEDs I used were about as tall as they could possibly be and still fit, I’ll have to measure the dimensions.
I am tapping into the cables that provide power to the 120v plug in that is on the back side of the center console (right next to the USB plugins). That cable is powered on when you hit the 120v button on the button panel next to the steering wheel (which also has the auxiliary buttons).
**Disclaimer: I am not responsible for anything that may go wrong with your attempt at anything in this process. If you are unsure about something, ask questions/figure it out before proceeding. Vehicles are expensive things, and fixes for them can also be expensive. Additionally you are working...
Ended up tackling this over last weekend and part of last week. As usual with all my projects, it took WAY. more time than anticipated and probably more than it was worth for a few LEDs in the hood scoop, but once you have enough time invested it feels more wasteful to scrap the whole thing at...
Ended up trying a few different things. One was a 12v-120v inverter to plug into the auxiliary pigtail. Considered hiding the inverter in the engine bay in a weatherproof box but space is limited and figured the heat alone would not be great for it. So I decided to run into the cabin, which was...
I was just reading through the manual again, and yep, that's my issue. I don't know how I missed that they were 12V, could have sworn I read 120V but that may have been the plug in the back.
So theoretically, I just need to up the 12V to 36V and could skip the power box? Or alternatively find...
I am trying to use "connector A" - one of the ones in the engine bay to power some lights I mounted into the hood scoop. The lights, however, are not necessarily made for vehicles. I had some left over "permanent outdoor lights" that I used due to being able to completely control them with an...
Following for everyone’s DIYs. Definitely interested in doing this. Only issue for me would be access through the hood scoop. I tried to get it off this past weekend to wrap it. There are three bolts that come through the hood right under the scoop. Unscrewed the nuts on them and the scoop is...
HAs anyone found out if there are different part numbers depending on the different models? I have the slim key, want to make sure I don't get something that's not going to work. Also, any good write ups or videos on how to get the color matched part off of the door handle to swap out?
