The first sample came with the Tacoma new but the next two I changed were Mobil 1 0W-20 Advanced Fuel Economy. Amsoil / Oil Analyzers Interesting question. My 1st gen had 200k miles when I sold it for a small profit. I drive less than 10k a year though.

I changed the oil at 3k, 6k and 10k and took samples to send in for analysis. Anyway, it seems like it has broken in nicely. After the break-in period wear metal levels have been coming way down.

I’ll be interested to see what the fix is. Could be a zip tie. Doubt it would be anything more than replacing the soft lines. Maybe an angled or offset port fitting?
