I messaged them on instagram shortly after the tuxmats became available. They told me that the current ones would NOT fit the hybrid and they were going to release the hybrid mats after the new year. the website currently tells me in red lettering that they do not fit hybrid models...

Yeah I'm curious if there is any difference between the two. I wouldn't think so, but maybe one is easier to route the cable or access the existing harness

There is a difference in the hump between the seats in the gas only vs hybrid. The other mfgs (lasfit, weathertech, etc) have different SKUs for the two models I've asked on Instagram if they are compatible and if not, if they will sell the front row separately (which are identical). And...

I see that, unfortunately i have no clue if it works with the hybrid model (I know the front will, but not sure about the back). Does anyone have a support email for tuxmat, or any way to contact an actual human? The bot on the website is not intelligent at all.

Do you know if the Hybrid tacoma will be able to keep the always-on mode on longer without issue? I would think that would be the case, but I guess I don't truly know.

Trucks are produced sequentially. The top of the TSB states "This bulletin applies to vehicles BEFORE the production change..." So if the last 6 of your vin are higher than the number in the bulletin then you are not affected. If the 6 numbers are smaller, then you are.

How are you liking this tonneau cover? I am looking for one and was set on this till i saw a couple reviews of the plastic latch mechanism breaking on an amazon review (the latch part near the tailgate). Curious what you think now that you've had it a while.
