I can beat that. I will post the picture if I can find it. I went from the Newfound Gap overlook in the Smoky Mountains to Gatlinburg. I think it was over 100 mpg. I don’t know if I hit the gas once on the way down.
It’s good to know this wasn’t just my imagination. MPG is up around 1 MPG or so. That alone would not be a reason to use premium top tier fuel but the noise and virtually no auditable pinging (I have never read the ECU to see if anything registered) I feel it’s worth it.
So given it’s been dry where I live and now we are getting a lot of rain I notice what I believe to be an issues with the adjustment of the intermittent wiper. Given the current setting in the attached picture would this be the shortest gap or longest gap between wiper passes? Its current the...
I am wondering if they are doing it because it’s quieter and virtually no chance of pinging. I swear in certain situations I would hear it ping with 87.
It sounds less diesel like with premium. I also felt like it pinged in certain situations on regular gas. I wonder if that’s why they require it for the Land Cruiser. I am sure the programming is different between the two as well.
I typically use top tier fuel from a local gas station but they don’t sell premium fuel. Today I filled up with premium from another local gas station. I thought I would try it since a Land Cruiser requires premium fuel and I would see if there is a difference. Much of the engine...
Does your vehicle have the digital key? I have issues with it. Constantly says I need to download a new one but it fails to download but the digital still works. It really feels like a beta app.
I know premiums have it but base off roads do not. I have an upgrade package, but I don't believe I have looked up to see. I don't hear a noise that I would consider to be an issue but it may be because I have insulation.
