Reviving this thread a bit with more info for anyone who comes reading... Depending on your model (mine is a Sport Premium) you may not get the frame plugs that go into the lower control arms of the front suspension. This is what causes the whistling. More info here...

Where in BC are you? I lived in the lower mainland for many years (currently on the island) and was using General Grabbers on my XTerra, and then switched over to KO2's. I think I preferred the Grabbers, but the KO2's did well in the snow we got. Mind you, I was able to put it in 4 wheel drive...

Well, hopefully this brings this saga to an end. Got the truck back today with an all new transmission. Fingers crossed the next time I'm at the dealer is because of my regularly scheduled service.

I am as well. This app is a bit hilarious / silly with the security settings as well. The "Keep me signed in" and "require authentication" settings fight each other and allow access without authentication in certain situations.
