I ditched the stock 17 SR5 wheels and tires and upgrade to some 18" TRD OR take offs.
If i bought a matching 5th wheel and tire, would it fit in the spare tire well under the bed? If not, what is the matching tire that I can fit on the stock spare to match the diameter of my new-to-me OR...
Update: Seller met me at the tire shop and the technician swapped my wheels and scanned the sensors. Charged me $30. Drove off no lights. Put a couple hundred miles and bo issues so far.
looking to purchase some trd off road "take offs" for my sr5. the seller says it comes with 4 sensors. i've been reading some mixed results on the tpms reset/relearning procedure.
can anyone confirm that the built in menu can reprogram these? the shop was charging me about $180 to get it to...
i dont plan on it. i took the chance on a year 1 vehicle of new gen so i didnt feel comfortable buying it off the jump. at the end of the lease i intend to return it and if my plans change i might go for a higher trim or jump to the 6th gen 4runner which should be in year 3 of its redesign.
i am at 850 miles approaching 1k and was considering do the break in oil change that everyone recommends at 1K.
since this is a lease vehicle they offered 2 free oil changes at 10K and 20K miles. should i just leave it alone and let the dealer do the oil changes at their suggested interval...
Hi everyone, I just leased an sr5 dc and it had the non negotiable dealer security system from Karr.
I didn't get any extra remotes or maybe for any subscriptions. I think this was installed to also secure their inventory while on the lot or in case of report from what I've read online.
Since...
also looking to do this. did you ever find out? i see some tundra wheels are 20" so i'd also like to know since my stocks are 17" and don't wanna any fitment issues.
Since it is a felt/carpet liner should I use a fabric spray paint?
I found this one at my local auto zone:
https://www.autozone.com/paint-and-body/vinyl-and-fabric-paint/p/dupli-color-flat-black-vinyl-fabric-spray-paint-11oz/645639_0_0
Oh damn replace the whole part. Thanks for the link. Might be worth it. How about a spray paint just to cover it? I'm concerned that if I replace it with new, it may happen again so was looking for a cheap fix.
I guess I ran over some wet paint and it splattered all over my fender liner. Is there a way to clean this mess up?
Would WD40 and a pressure washer work? Or can I just spray over it? If so, which black paint do I need to buy?
Thanks in advance.
