  1. Colorado Retrax Pro XR Tonneau Cover - NIB/Never Opened -$2200

That sounds great, but I didn’t end up buying the truck, which is why I’m in this predicament. So, I’d just end up the the rack sitting in my garage, instead of the tonneau.
  2. Colorado Retrax Pro XR Tonneau Cover - NIB/Never Opened -$2200

I’m in the south central mountains, near Gunnison. Feel free to DM me.
  3. Colorado Retrax Pro XR Tonneau Cover - NIB/Never Opened -$2200

This is still available as of 3/3/2025. Just wanted to add that update.
  4. Colorado Retrax Pro XR Tonneau Cover - NIB/Never Opened -$2200

New in box, unopened Retrax Pro XR tonneau cover for ā€˜24 Tacoma plus short bed. $2200 OBO. Save yourself the taxes and help a brother out. Long story short - I ended up not buying the Tacoma from this dealer. They already bought the tonneau and were going to charge me ~$1k in restocking and...
  5. 2024 Tacoma TRD Pro Full Transmission Replacement After 342 Miles

Interesting. We just picked up our new LC250 last week and drove 600 miles home with no problems so far. Have around 800 miles on it to this point with no hard shifting. One of the first 500 made. I am, perhaps incorrectly, under the impression that the transmission manufacturer on these two...
  6. RetraxONE MX Retractable Tonneau Cover Installed

Just FYI on winter performance. I had one on my last truck and live at 9,000 feet with 200+ inches of snow a winter and never had any issues. We get a lot of sunshine though, so maybe that helped.
  7. Two Tacos and a Canyon Redux

This is exactly why I decided not to move forward with my purchase. I could not decide between the Canyon AEV and the TRD Pro. You may have seen my other post. Giving it a couple years to decide and getting my wife a Land Cruiser this week. While I’m sad not to be getting a new truck now, she is...
  8. Well, I’m out…

Thanks. Sounds like I better get a profile rolling over there.
  9. Well, I’m out…

Yeah. With my indecisiveness, it just felt like it made sense to do something different. We found a good deal in a FE in meteor shower and decided to go for it. I will definitely miss having a truck for a year or two though.
  10. Well, I’m out…

Sorry for the click bait title. Just popping into say I gave up my allocation due to arrive in a week or two. Ultimately, I honestly couldn’t make up my mind between the Canyon AEV and the TRD Pro allocation, so the wife and I are getting a Land Cruiser. I’ll be back to the midsize pickup world...
  11. Explain it like I’m 5 - bump stops!

does this mean my new truck will fall apart when I drive it down our alley? /s
  12. Explain it like I’m 5 - bump stops!

Why do people keep saying the Tacoma had no bump stops. Is this true? Is it true across trims? I have a Pro soon to be delivered and I do not believe this is true at this trim level. Thanks in advance!
  13. Just picked up my 2024 TRD Pro. Traded my 2002 1st gen that I've had since new.

How tall are you? I’m 6’5ā€ so I’m curious how you’re finding the fit.
  14. MSRP OR MARKUP

I can say from calling around that there are many Pros that can be had for MSRP. Just have to do some legwork. Of course, you run into the dealerships with 5k and 10k markups. A dealership I passed on a while ago has a Pro in the lot for 2500 markup. Originally they wanted 5000, but I guess no...
  15. TRD Pro Allocations. Post them here. šŸ“‹

I’m assuming he meant Terra, but maybe not. There is no way there is a mud bath yet, right?
  16. Toyota tech tip on transmission failure: "Torque Converter Required During Transmission Replacement With Debris"

Interesting. I wasn’t aware they were required to report it. I’d be curious to see what teeth there are for mandating reporting. Learn something new everyday.
  17. Toyota tech tip on transmission failure: "Torque Converter Required During Transmission Replacement With Debris"

it’s implied by simple probabilities. We have a small subset of 4G Tacoma owners here and have a handful of them with failed transmissions at minimum. Of course, people on forums are biased toward those with negative outcomes, but extrapolation suggests more despite our likely population bias.
