I had this same issue. I contacted Timbren directly and they sent me a taller stop that worked much better.

I have -10 offset with RC Flares (285/70/17 tires). Looks good and the flares provide full coverage.

Great information. I'm about ready to get one but I'm concerned if it'll interfere with my shifter with a 6MT, like you mentioned. Reverse pushes pretty far forward and it's hard to tell how much the phone will stick out. I wonder how solid their return policy is so I can give it a try.

How heavy are those? Wondering if I could mount it to the top of my Diamondback Cover and get heavier support struts for the front hatch so I could still open it. And, I'll be making a trip up to Kokomo IN in the next couple of weeks so this is a serious inquiry/question.
