I haven't noticed it at any specific speeds, however gears definitely grind for me when I push my clutch all the way to the floor.. ex... Clutch push to the floor, attempt to shift into next gear, grind, wait 1 - 2 seconds w/ lifting foot off clutch and push in and no problems... not my first...

I was thinking about this and I could be wrong, however on the drivers side fuse box there may be a bolt that connects the power from the battery to the fuse box where you could give your lights power, unsure about solutions for the negative terminal ring end. step 9...
