  1. 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport handling snow storm like a champ... how about yours?

Yeah agreed. Even with 300lbs in the bed it still didn’t handle nearly as well as my 5th gen 4Runner in 2WD. 4WD is always on now in the snow. I’m not messing around with switching between 2WD/4WD.
  2. 2024 Tacoma TRD Sport handling snow storm like a champ... how about yours?

We've been getting dumped on as well. Running 285/75/17 K03s with MT (no A-TRAC/MTS) and runs like a champ as long as 4HI is on. 2WD, even in light snowy/icy roads was extremely sketchy.
  3. Fabtech 1.5" Leveling Kit - Any experience?

Interesting I curious to hear what others have to say as that’s not what Westcott had to say about it.
  4. Fabtech 1.5" Leveling Kit - Any experience?

It reduces your suspension travel, limiting how much it can flex. Also, puts a ton of extra strain on your suspension making it easier for things to break. Going to ride really rough too.
  5. Wheel Pic Request - Titanium Method MR703 on Underground?

  6. Wheel Pic Request - Titanium Method MR703 on Underground?

Ok thanks for confirming! Yea it looks really good.
  8. *UPDATE* - 285/17/R18 BF Goodrich KO3 tires on stock Trailhunter - before & after photos

Given there’s no poke my guess is it’s close to the TRD Off-road wheels at +55mm.
  9. *UPDATE* - 285/17/R18 BF Goodrich KO3 tires on stock Trailhunter - before & after photos

Nice! What’s the offset on the Trailhunter wheels?
  10. Fabtech 1.5" Leveling Kit - Any experience?

If you’re going to be doing any off-roading spacers are a bad idea.
  11. Not much room for a larger spare tire under our trucks

Any updates on anyone running 285/75/17? I have a set of that size KO3s coming and hoping to stuff it under there aired down with the resonator delete turndown. 🤷‍♂️
  12. New automatic transmission tsb to now include hybrid.

They added new VINs but didn’t address the issue of MT VINs still appearing on the list, even though the description specifies automatics...
  13. Shif knob ( 6 speed manual ) from 3rd gen Tacoma fits the 4th gen?

Aren’t they the same shift knob?
  14. Trailhunter owners: 5ft vs 6ft bed decision?

I swear this is one of the many things that are over represented by the online car community (e.g. buyers wanting hideous sports wagons not avail. In the US). The truth is the vast majority of people do not want nor have the need for a 6ft bed. Look at the stats it’s currently at like 16% 6ft...
  15. TSB: 2024 Tacoma Transmission Failures Issue & Replacement (9/9/24). Updated w/ VIN Lookup Tool

Bro how does posting a picture of the other TSB have anything to do with the one in this thread? There are clearly manual transmission VINs on it and either that’s wrong (unlikely) or the description is a typo (likely). We’ve seen a few MTs on here fail and they’re definitely related to this...
  16. TSB: 2024 Tacoma Transmission Failures Issue & Replacement (9/9/24). Updated w/ VIN Lookup Tool

I wish that were the case but the E in 3TYLE5JN stands for MT and is in the TSB…
  17. TSB: 2024 Tacoma Transmission Failures Issue & Replacement (9/9/24). Updated w/ VIN Lookup Tool

Good info but I still think he gets it wrong. There are manual transmission VINs in the TSB.
  18. TSB: 2024 Tacoma Transmission Failures Issue & Replacement (9/9/24). Updated w/ VIN Lookup Tool

FWIW my manual trans VIN is in the latest TSB and not the manual specific one. I think the latest one just has an incorrect description mentioning automatics.
