yea, its a known issue. Ive spoken to retrax and kuat, both left me pretty high and dry.(kuat says, its not "verified for compatibility" they wont say, it just doesnt fit). spoke to retrax, they said that is the only rail that is for the long bed. according to local dealer, its the old design...

The dealership I picked up my long bed trailhunter had a used 3k mile short bed trailhunter that was listed for highter than what I paid for my new trailhunter. I asked why and they told me that its whats selling for. I couldnt understand why but thats the reason I was given.
love my new trailhunter. also, alot of those negativity comes from speculation. "its a turbo'd 4banger so it will have issues". these cars(tacoma specific) have not been out long enough to have a significant amount of issues yet.
