I just got these yesterday, let me test fit them first. I forgot to mention these are for the 1020 extrusion on yakima or thule rails. Since I already have the upTOP rack on the cab, I can't measure the factory holes.
I just drew some up for my topper in a CAD software and had them cut and bent at Send Cut Send. I also cut the ends for either tie down or the upTOP scenepods for side lights.
I purchased an upTOP rack for my cab. It's a great piece with the best designed front faring in my opinion.
My 17 year old V8 Toyota 4Runner gets better mileage with my lead foot wife driving it. This is where the problem lies. Same manufacturer, same platform (truck) going backwards in efficiency.
"Cooling down the turbo" was a thing before they started pumping coolant through them. All modern production turbos have a water jacket and don't require a turbo timer.
@Gfenza89 if you are confident the symptoms can be duplicated when the technician does a road test, you should take it in. Check engine or not, It is still an issue that needs repair. Dont mention the tsb or anything, play dumb. If anything you start the paper trail of repair requests.
As a former toyota tech, as long as we could duplicate the symptoms, it was grounds for warranty claim. I haven't read this tsb but does it explicitly require a code to be present?
MY vin # isn't even close to the "effected" range but I do have shift issues where it skips 2nd gear but then down...
When you press the camera view button, there is a record icon that coms on the screen. I believe it's intended for off roading to share your achievements. I'll press it today when I take the kids to school and see what happens
