No, I left the front stock. I just couldn’t justify spending $1200 to lift the front on a truck w 600mi with how I use it lol. Though I did find the height of the 819’s to be nearly perfect but was way too much rake with the front stock
It looks to be at 23 3/4” with the camper, bike rack and a few other things totaling about 500-525lbs and that would be about the same as what is seen in the driveway pic. I will then add 9gal of water and another 50ish lbs of gear
I am by no means a crazy wheeler but am looking into so sliders/rails for piece of mind and insurance. Also would be nice to have something to block some of the rocks flung up towards the bed flare. Since I have not gone down this road before, what are ppls thoughts btwn an aftermarket option...
Yea except the only springs I’ve seen are a 2” lift and I’d rather retain factory rake and minimal lift. My prior Tacoma was fully lifted and just wasn’t what I was looking for w on road feel. Plus, things are already close
Yea I just haven’t heard the best about a spacer in the front as you essentially run into the limits of the strut earlier etc. for instance the internal bump stop. I also am at the limits of the local parking garages already so I think I wanna make sure I fit
In that pic I just have the camper (370# ish, 50# of awning, 105# of bike rack). In this pic, I have 260# in the bed. With that and the larger tires, 1.1” taller, I am 1 1/4” above stock height. I was trying to stick w stock suspension in the front as it seems to fit my needs so I think I will...
I took a before and after with the 819, hoping they settle a little also, I don’t have any of my camp stuff in the truck so, fingers crossed that will lower it at least an inch. otherwise I’ll have to buy the 817 the ride quality is great though!
