For anybody that removed the factory oem roof rack, what trim did you buy or what did you put in place of the exposed threaded holes?

Thank you so much for posting this fix. I was having the same issue. I did exactly what you did and now there's no vibration at all. I thought my rearview mirror would fall off because it was vibrating so much before.

I'm located in southern maryland, calvert county.

They don't work that great as a step. If you have smaller feet then maybe, but I'm a size 14 and don't like them as a step.

How do you check for transmission codes?

other than a stuck gear and bad mpgs, has there been any other signs leading up the transmission failures?

how can you check the color of the transmission fluid in the 2024's?

Does anybody notice a little clatter sound sometimes when in lower RPMS and usually somewhere between 2nd and 4th gear upon medium to hard acceleration? It shifts perfect and is smooth, but almost sounds like a knock or something. I thinking its just heavier load at a lower rpm like most cars...

Like New, coming off my Tacoma with 3k miles on it. Never once hit a rock with them.

Great write up. I just removed my rock rails and was wondering if before you installed yours, was there anything in the bolt holes in the frame that you needed to remove? Or was it just a threaded hole in the frame? I'm just wondering if i need to plug the holes. Thanks.

Did you happen to take any pics of where the bolts were located? I ask because I just took the oem rock rails off mine and installed go rhino running boards, but they bolted into different holes underneath.

I just bought a pair. Where does the offset bracket go? Furthest back? Thanks.

Looking to buy the oem aluminum side steps. I have the oem rock rails and would throw them in on the deal.
