I didn’t do anything particular, just relied on the inactivity timer that VIOFO says all their cams have, but doesn’t recommend. My Dongar Pro is on the “T” setting. Yes, I have it set to motion activated in parking mode. If it was recording continuously in regular mode, the power, recording, and GPS lights would be lit.
