I'm able to connect to the DashCam WiFi, but I can't do anything in the app

Thanks for the tips - but it still doesn't work. My phone sees the camera WiFi and I'm able to connect to the camera WiFi successfully. But when I go back to the app, it still shows the icon to add a dashcam. On a side note, I am able to view the videos when I connect the SD card to my...

I'm able to connect to the DashCam WiFi, but I can't do anything in the app

I've followed the instructions in the manual , but I'm unable to connect to my 2024 Tacoma dashcam with the app. I'm able to connect to the dashcam WiFi with no problems at all. But then when I go back to the app, I can't control anything or see any settings, etc. I've tried turning off...

Carplay doesn't auto connect and toyota app problems.

@Delta1Seven - I'm an Android user. I have a similar problem with Android Auto not connecting automatically, but it only happens about 20% of the time. And it's not when I'm using remote start. I can't pinpoint a rhyme or reason for it. If I restart the truck, or go into the settings and turn...

Found Detachable Steps for OEM Rock Sliders

I think you are right @Cabby30 - it does appear to be hitting the welds. The problem is, the distance between the brackets on the step are such that, even when I move it to mount it differently, one side is going to be hitting a weld. The steps don't fit evenly between the slider plates...

Found Detachable Steps for OEM Rock Sliders

I ordered a set of four of them. They are very solid, and they look great. However, please note that there may be 1/4" of a gap between the step mount and the mount where you bolt them to the OEM Rock Rails (see picture). I have tightened them as much as possible, but there is still a small...

4th Gen Tacoma Quick Reference Guide Thread! đź“’

Wow! Thanks for the reference guide @braaadyota I bought my first Taco a few days ago and this is VERY helpful. It should be pinned or posted as an FAQ on this forum. The best thing I learned from your post is how to remotely start my Taco without the paid subscription app. Mucho Gracias...

Found Detachable Steps for OEM Rock Sliders

That's the point of having them detachable. Take them off before you go off roading or rocking. Plus, I'm tired of hauling a footstool around so the little lady can get in the truck (mine isn't even lifted - it's stock).

Found Detachable Steps for OEM Rock Sliders

Ruissimo - are those the Toyota OEM rock rails you have on your Trail Hunter? I have the OEMs on my TRD OffRoad but I want to make sure they fit before I order them. The measurements on the Amazon link don't seem accurate. It looks like I have about 13.5" between the mounting holes on my...
