35x11.5R16 factory lifted Tacoma.

Hi,
Will 16 inch wheels with the right specs clear the diameter of the TRD OR brakes?
I live in northern Canada and I frequent some pretty rugged trails
With the deep snow and rocks, ground clearance is critical so usually I like >35 inch tires on my rig. This will be my first Tacoma. Along with a coilover/control arm 3 inch lift, I would like to run a smaller wheel and a narrow 35x11.5R16 or 315 75 16 would be great looking/working setup.
Has anyone measured/tested if a 16 inch wheel with the right specs can clear the oem brakes of the TRD Offroad?
Otherwise, I already have a 17 inch wheel/tire combo that will work
