I found a suitable location in the engine compartment to mount my ARB Single Motor Air Compressor just didn't have a good way to mount it. The local maker's space at the college has an incredible 3D printing lab so I decided to model something myself. I feel like it turned out decent for my first foray into 3D printing. I started out on solid works but jumped over to Shapr3D as solid works is just not that intuitive.

Love the ingenuity and great job for your first 3D print. Can you share the .STL file?

Absolutely. I’m making a couple small revisions before we print it on the industrial level printer today. Once it successfully prints I will share the STL file.

What material are you printing it with? I'd be concerned about the plastic deforming.

Piece looks great, but. Compressors make heat + under hood heat.
I considered the engine bay heat and possible issues with print failing so the final print will be made on an industrial grade printer. It can use filament that can take the heat. The college uses this for diesel engine parts designed in the machine tool technician and diesel mechanic programs so it can withstand the engine compartment heat without issues.

I will get the exact type of material used today and let you know. The guy that runs the lab said we would have to use the industrial printer to make it strong enough to survive the stresses of the engine bay.

Excellent work my friend. a good clean print too.
Thank you! It's nice to have access to a higher end printer as well call on the expertise of the guy that runs the maker's space. He has been a huge help.

Final print is underway. The filament is ABS + which can withstand temperatures up to 100 Celsius or 212 Fahrenheit before it would begin to deform. It should more than handle the engine bay on even the hottest days. I will figure out a way to share the STL file so if anyone wants to print one they can.

Man, now you have me going down the compressor rabbit hole. Looks like that compressor is about $350 for the kit (if I'm looking at the right one on ARB website). And I can make a mount for that spot easy enough. I don't have access to that good of a 3D printer but I have a plasma table and a press brake so I can make one out of formed steel plate no problem.
