What?!?!? No Splash Guards on a $60k Truck?
Well my Off Road Premium did not come with splash guards and in the end that was a good thing,
Though I like the look of the truck without them, they are kind of a must have here in the Pacific Northwest.
After some research I ended up going with ARK Splash Guards 2024+ Toyota Tacoma TriXpoly Mudflaps
What I Liked:
- The slightly extended design of the full mudflaps should provide extra protection
-I like a crease that adds a little design element to otherwise boring splash guards. I feel it complements some of the angular design elements in the new Tacoma. You can also specify their logo color. In my case orange to complement my Solar Octane paint.
-Sturdy, thick material
-Made in the USA.
What I didn’t Like:
-Some of the shorter bolts provided seemed a touch short. It took a little extra time to get seated properly - they could be a few mm longer. Definitely start the shorter bolts first, and do the longer ones last. You can use the OEM bolts you removed, but they don’t sit as flush as the ones provided by ARK.
