Hi,
It all started when my 2023 Ranger started sending messages that he has to go to power saving mode. Even after extended trips. Than I realised that Start/Stop failed due to the car being in charge process. I just replaced the 800Ah AGM battery and raised the target state of charge from Fords original 80% to 95%.
I saw in the Internet screenshots of FORScan where users had the option to select the battery type, cranking amps and ampere hours. Even the manufacturer Exide, Varta… they could choose. I only see AGM or Flooded and the BMS configuration. Why don’t I see the other options? If I can’t see them will the BMS recognise my new battery?
