Hey everyone! I just joined the forum today, but have been an avid follower for the past several months. I'm set on purchasing the new gen. Tacoma (first one ever). I'll probably go with the Trailhunter. I planned on going through the Costco car buying program. I'm not so sure this is the best way since I've seen several people put down deposits.

That all being said, what is the best purchase route if I want the Trailhunter?

If you are not in line already with your dealer than chances of getting a 2024 will be very slim.

Yeah, I've looked at Costco's website and saw the hybrid models aren't available yet, which make sense since Toyota doesn't have them available on their website. I called the Costco car buying program and they said that I'll have to wait until they become available through the dealers/Toyota website. As a test, I speced out a 2024 ZR2 Bison on Costco's website. It's a pretty straight forward and easy process. Similar to any manufacturers' website.
I'll call a local dealer here in the Springs and see what they have to say. I'll keep doing research, and being patient. If it looks like the pricing is out of my range, or the wait is too long, then I'll go with the 2023 TRD Pro and wait a year or two for the TH to become more available.
