The gas only 2.4 models will likely have the best payload capacity and tow capacity. Towing capacity is more complicated than just torque numbers. Vehicle weight also affects towing figures and the added weight of the hybrid system on TRD Pro / Trailhunter, plus all their extra equipment like rock rails, skid plates, swap-bar disconnect, etc. lowers their overall towing capacity.
