Ladder Rack for 2024 Toyota Tacoma? No such thing!

Unfortunately, I have searched the internet, high and low in my search for a ladder rack for my 2024 Tacoma. I have investigated Yankee Custom Truck, Trac/Rac, Magnum, eTrailer, Thule, Real Truck, Merritt and I have found nothing that will fit my truck. Ideally. I would like what Magnum calls a head ache rack, a single rack mounted just behind the cab. At least then, I could carry a ladder or my sailboat mast without it sitting on the cab roof. The dealer states, " there are many companies who can install similar products”. Can anyone direct me to them, give me a link or a name??? This dilemma would be like purchasing a truck, only to find that there is no reverse gear.

There are roof rack solutions that use the holes from manufacturer or clips. Yakima has a tower and clip/adapt combo that is for their old school round bars which means you can use their attachments people consider gunwales or ladder mounts. One local but ships all over Rutabaga Paddlesports still sells the simple Malone racks that work with about anything.

Not what I was looking for, but a local firm that supples and outfits for vocational or professionals said they were going to have a new gen Tacoma steel bed mount rack of the style lots of contractors use that can hold a 4x8 sheet and ladders. They expected more solutions for Tacomas later in the year - now - based on Toyota getting production and sales volume up.

Would a full bed rack serve your purpose? What is the heaviest load that you would lean on a headache rack?

I would check out Spyder Industries. They are a bit pricey but have a lot of options available.

Magnum

Magnum's website has some rack configurations compatible with our trucks. At least they claim to fit 2016-2024. I don't actually know if the third gens' dimensions are any different than the '24s.
