I'm posting this because I spent a ton of time doing research deciding what tires/wheel set up to go with. Figured this might help someone out like me.

I have a 2024 SR5 4x4 long bed and knew right off of the bat that I would be replacing my stock wheels and tires. Here is what I ended up going with:

Wheels:
Icon Alloys Recon SLX 17x8.5 +25 offset in Charcoal.
I found these on sale and thought they looked great. Not really much else to say about the decision in going with these.

Spare wheel:
Vision Soft 8 17x9 steelie from Discount tire.
My original plan was to use one of the stock wheels as the spare rim, but after thinking about it, I wanted to keep my stock wheels and tires as a full set in case I decide to sell them or if I end up in a pinch, I can just throw these back on.

Tires:
Toyo Open Country A/T3's in 285/70r17
I wanted the largest tire I could fit that didn’t require any trimming or lift/level at all. These fit perfect with no rub at full lock in either forward or reverse. It’s pretty close though. About 1/2” from the crash plate at full lock. There is a little bit of poke, but not much.

I went with the SL load mainly for weight savings and ride quality/noise. I don’t tow anything crazy heavy and the off-roading I do is mainly out of necessity (getting to trailheads) and not for the sport of it, so I figured SL would be more than enough. And at 47lbs per tire (20 lbs lighter PER TIRE than the Falken wildpeak c loads) this was a no brainer choice. Basically no road noise at all either.

Spare tire:
Westlake SL369 All Terrain in 255/75r17
I landed on this size as I wanted something very close in diameter to my 285/70’s but wanted something thinner to not hang down as far. This is .5” smaller in diameter. That is close enough for me and will likely put the spare up front and swap a full size to the rear if I happen to get a flat. Also just wanted something cheap as it will, hopefully, just live under the truck. This set up fit no problem in the spare location and doesn’t hang down too low.

Overall I am super happy with my set up. I honestly don't know that I would change anything at all. Hopefully this helps someone out that is in the same situation I was.
